This small batch beer was brewed in collaboration with Awildan Distilling as a compliment to their recent rum releases - a bourbon barrel aged spiced rum and a rye barrel aged rum. Both rums will be officially released on July 29th at Awildan’s Sun Prairie distillery tasting room.

Nia Ryan, Herbiery’s founder and herbalist, put together a dark wheat beer recipe to complement these rums. This beer is 3.8% ABV, offering a yeast-forward flavor profile with notes of clove and banana peel snugly tucked against a soft bed of wheat character and haze. A small amount of lightly roasted barley adds a darker color and multiple lemon balm additions round things out for an earthy, lemony character.
